Summary
This study tested three types of tooth sealants made from glass ionomer to see which one lasts longest and prevents cavities best in children. Two hundred healthy kids aged 6 to 12 got sealants on their back molars and were checked over 24 months. The goal was to find out which sealant stays on the tooth and protects against decay most effectively.
