Summary
This study tested three types of tooth sealants made from glass ionomer to see how well they stay on and prevent cavities in children's back teeth. Two hundred healthy kids aged 6 to 12 took part, and the sealants were applied to their lower first permanent molars. The researchers checked the sealants over 24 months to see if they stayed intact and protected against decay.
