VR and AR put to the test for caregiver training

NCT ID NCT05885334

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) training can help caregivers make fewer mistakes. 168 caregivers were split into three groups: one got VR training, one got AR training, and one got standard training. After six months, researchers checked how well they performed care tasks. The goal is to see if these high-tech tools can improve care quality and reduce errors.
