Summary
This study looked at whether a caregiver's knowledge, attitudes, and daily care habits are linked to the oral health of the Alzheimer's patient they look after. Researchers in Cairo surveyed 30 primary caregivers and checked the dental health of their patients. The goal was to see if better-informed caregiving leads to healthier teeth and gums for people with Alzheimer's.
