Major study launches to map the path to survival for deadliest heart condition
NCT ID NCT05185492
Summary
This study is creating a detailed registry to track the treatment and recovery of 500 patients with cardiogenic shock, a severe and often fatal heart condition. By following patients from four major medical centers for up to a year, researchers aim to identify which treatments and care strategies lead to the best survival and quality-of-life outcomes. The goal is to gather real-world evidence to guide better care and design future clinical trials for this critical condition.
