First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This early-stage study looked at whether Staccato Loxapine, an inhaled drug, causes any heart rhythm changes in 48 healthy adults. Participants received the drug, a placebo, and another comparison drug in a crossover design. The main goal was to measure the drug's effect on the heart's electrical activity (QTc interval) to ensure it is safe for future use.
