First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study measured how high- and low-intensity strength training affects heart rate and blood pressure in 28 people with high blood pressure (hypertension). Participants did both types of exercise while their heart activity and blood pressure were monitored. The goal was to see which intensity level has a better effect on heart health, but this was a small, completed study that only measured short-term responses.
