First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at 5,000 people with myocarditis (heart muscle inflammation) to see if advanced heart MRI scans can better predict who will recover and who might face serious problems like heart failure or sudden cardiac death. Researchers will track participants for major heart events and also check genetic data. The goal is to improve risk assessment and guide treatment decisions.
