Massive 20-Year study reveals death patterns in rare gut tumors
NCT ID NCT07317713
Summary
This study analyzed 20 years of data from over 93,000 patients with rare gastrointestinal carcinoid tumors to understand their mortality risks. Researchers examined whether patients were more likely to die from their cancer or from other causes, and how this varied by tumor location. The goal was to provide better information about survival patterns for these uncommon tumors.
