Could a simple Pre-Surgery drink ease C-Section recovery?
NCT ID NCT07204795
Summary
This study is testing if drinking a clear, carbohydrate-rich beverage two hours before a scheduled cesarean section helps women feel better and recover faster after surgery. Researchers will compare 100 women who get the drink to 100 who get plain water, measuring recovery scores, hunger, thirst, and anxiety. The goal is to see if this simple step can improve comfort and the overall recovery experience.
