New immune cell therapy tested for leukemia patients out of options
NCT ID NCT05350787
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new CAR-T cell therapy called ThisCART19A in 10 adults with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) that had returned or stopped responding to other treatments. The main goal was to check the safety of the treatment and see how the body handles it. Researchers also looked for early signs that the therapy might help fight the cancer.
