Fast-Made cell therapy tested as potential Game-Changer for Tough-to-Treat lupus

NCT ID NCT07318259

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new, quickly-made cell therapy for people with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard drugs. The therapy, called CAR-T, involves taking a patient's own immune cells, modifying them to target lupus-related proteins, and putting them back. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can reduce lupus disease activity.
