Radical immune cell therapy tested for Hard-to-Treat autoimmune diseases
NCT ID NCT07152223
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new type of cell therapy for people with severe autoimmune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Doctors will modify a patient's own immune cells (called CAR-T cells) to target and potentially reset the faulty immune system. The main goals are to see if this one-time treatment is safe and shows signs of helping control these difficult conditions.
