Scientists test simple lifestyle changes to protect cancer Patients' brains
NCT ID NCT07173166
Summary
This study is testing whether simple, non-drug approaches can help reduce brain-related side effects (neurotoxicity) that sometimes occur after a powerful cancer treatment called CAR-T therapy. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with blood cancers and randomly assign them to either a structured exercise program, exercise plus nutritional advice, or no special intervention. The goal is to see if these lifestyle strategies can lower the risk or severity of confusion, memory problems, and other neurological issues that can happen after treatment, helping patients recover better.
