New immune cell therapy tested for kids with tough leukemia

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new type of treatment called CART123 for children and young adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has come back or hasn't responded to other therapies. The study will see if these specially engineered immune cells are safe and work better when given alone or combined with another drug called ruxolitinib. It aims to find the right dose and see if it can put the cancer into remission.
