Experimental cell therapy aims to bridge patients to Life-Saving transplant
NCT ID NCT06197672
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new cell therapy called CD4CAR for adults and teens with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to standard treatments. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to target the cancer, and infuse them back. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and can reduce the cancer enough so the patient can receive a potentially curative stem cell transplant.
