Heated cell therapy targets prostate cancer tumors

NCT ID NCT07240857

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new type of CAR-T cell therapy, called ACT#001, for men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy. The therapy involves collecting a patient's own immune cells, genetically modifying them to target a protein on prostate cancer cells, and then injecting them directly into the tumor. The main goals are to see if this local injection is safe and if it can help control the cancer.
