New immune cell therapy tested for tough childhood cancer

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new treatment for children and young adults whose high-risk neuroblastoma has come back or hasn't responded to standard treatments. Doctors will collect a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target the cancer, and then infuse them back. The study first aims to find a safe dose and then see how well these modified cells can shrink tumors.
