Scientists re-engineer Patients' own cells to fight advanced blood cancers

Summary

This study is testing a new personalized treatment for adults with certain advanced blood cancers that have come back or not responded to other therapies. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target cancer, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this one-time treatment can shrink the cancer and to monitor its safety.
