Summary

This study is testing a new, one-time treatment called rapcabtagene autoleucel for people with severe, hard-to-treat diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (a severe form of scleroderma). It compares this CAR-T cell therapy, which involves modifying a patient's own immune cells, against the standard treatment, rituximab. The main goal is to see if the new therapy is better at improving skin thickness, lung function, and overall health after one year.
