One-Time cell therapy battles stubborn blood cancer in major trial

Summary
This study is comparing a personalized immune cell therapy to standard treatments for adults with follicular lymphoma that has returned or stopped responding to prior therapies. The therapy, called axicabtagene ciloleucel, involves collecting a patient's own immune cells, modifying them to better fight cancer, and infusing them back. The main goal is to see if this one-time treatment can keep the cancer from progressing longer than standard care.
