One-Shot gene therapy trial aims to reset immune system in devastating autoimmune diseases
NCT ID NCT07413341
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new, one-time treatment called TI-0032-III injection for people with severe autoimmune diseases that have not improved with standard medications. The treatment uses a patient's own immune T cells, genetically modified to target and remove harmful B cells that drive the disease. Researchers will first check if the treatment is safe and look for signs it can reduce disease activity in conditions like lupus, Sjögren's syndrome, and scleroderma.
