Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and effects of an experimental cell therapy called LUCAR-G79 in adults with severe autoimmune diseases that have not improved with standard treatments. The therapy involves collecting and genetically modifying a patient's own immune cells (CAR-T cells) to target and remove harmful immune cells, potentially resetting the immune system. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if it can reduce disease activity in conditions like lupus, scleroderma, and vasculitis.
