New 'Off-the-Shelf' cell therapy trial opens for Tough-to-Treat cancers

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new type of cell therapy called FT825/ONO-8250 in people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The therapy involves modifying a patient's immune cells (T-cells) in a lab to better target and fight cancer, and it's designed to be readily available 'off-the-shelf.' Researchers will first find the safest dose and then see how well it works, either alone or combined with antibody drugs.
