New CAR-T therapy aims to keep High-Risk leukemia in remission

Summary
This study is testing a new treatment using specially engineered immune cells (CAR-T cells) that target two markers on leukemia cells (CD22 and CD19). The goal is to prevent the cancer from coming back in people with high-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia who have already achieved their first remission after standard chemotherapy. About 30 participants will receive the CAR-T cells after a short course of chemotherapy to prepare their bodies. Researchers will monitor safety and how long the remission lasts.
