New study aims to tame dangerous immune reactions from cancer therapy

Summary
This study tests whether certain drugs can safely treat severe immune overreactions (CRS and HLH-like syndrome) that can happen after CAR T cell therapy. Ten adults already enrolled in a CAR T cell trial at the University of Pennsylvania will receive these rescue therapies. The goal is to see if the treatments are safe and feasible to use.
