Scientists test 'Living Drug' that hunts breast cancer cells
NCT ID NCT07486089
Summary
This study is testing a new type of treatment called CAR-NK cell therapy for people with advanced breast cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors will collect a patient's own natural immune cells, modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can shrink tumors in patients with HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer.
