Shoulder surgery showdown: does extra stitching limit Athletes' range of motion?
NCT ID NCT07520669
First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at people having a common shoulder surgery (Latarjet) for recurrent dislocations. Surgeons sometimes add a capsule repair, but it's unclear if that extra step reduces the arm's ability to rotate outward. The trial will compare rotation and function in 104 participants to help decide the best approach.
