First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compares two common treatments for frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis): a fluid injection to stretch the shoulder joint capsule versus a steroid injection to reduce inflammation. Both groups will also do physical therapy. The goal is to see which approach better relieves pain, improves movement, and boosts satisfaction. The trial will include 50 adults aged 18 to 80 with shoulder pain and stiffness.
