Pill camera with AI takes on colonoscopy in polyp detection showdown
NCT ID NCT07089615
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a new pill-sized camera (CapsoCam Colon) that you swallow to take pictures of your colon. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors spot polyps (small growths that can become cancer). About 330 adults aged 45-75 will swallow the capsule and then have a standard colonoscopy to see how well the camera compares. The goal is to see if this less invasive method can reliably find polyps.
