First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study compares giving chemotherapy before surgery versus standard surgery-first treatment for people with stage II or III colon cancer that has a high risk of coming back. About 100 adults aged 18-70 will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if pre-surgery chemo improves the chance of being cancer-free after two years, while also using blood tests to better predict recurrence.
