Cannabis extract tested as potential new option for stubborn back pain
NCT ID NCT06956014
Summary
This study aims to see if a cannabis-based medicine called VER-01 can safely reduce pain for people with long-term, nerve-related low back pain. It will involve 810 adults whose pain hasn't been helped enough by standard non-opioid painkillers. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the cannabis extract or a placebo (inactive substance) for 12 weeks to compare pain relief.
