First seen May 13, 2026 ยท Last updated May 13, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding an immune-boosting drug called interferon-gamma 1b to standard antifungal treatment can help clear Candida bloodstream infections faster. About 200 adults with a confirmed Candida infection in their blood will receive either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus the study drug. The main goal is to see how quickly the infection clears from the blood and whether the combination is safe.
