NCT ID NCT07544342
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study aims to find out which factors make ICU patients more likely to carry Candida auris on their skin during an outbreak. Researchers will swab the nose, armpits, and groin of 1200 hospitalized adults to detect the fungus. The goal is to better understand how the infection spreads, not to test a new treatment.
