Cancer's hidden cost: study probes financial strain of radiation treatment

Summary
This study aims to understand the financial burden, often called 'financial toxicity,' experienced by cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. Researchers will follow 1,000 Italian patients, asking them to complete questionnaires about treatment costs and their personal finances before, during, and after their radiation treatment. The goal is to measure how much financial stress patients face and see if it connects to their overall quality of life and treatment outcomes.
