Scientists check if antibiotics change cancer drug power
NCT ID NCT05372367
Summary
This early study tested a new cancer drug called BI 907828 in adults with advanced solid tumors that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goal was to see if taking common medications (an antibiotic or an antifungal) at the same time changed how much of the cancer drug got into patients' bloodstreams. Doctors measured drug levels in the blood to understand these interactions and monitor for side effects.
