New cancer drug duo enters human safety testing

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of combining two cancer drugs, valemetostat and a DXd antibody-drug conjugate, in people with advanced solid tumors. It will enroll about 210 adults with specific types of advanced breast, lung, or stomach cancer that have progressed on prior treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the combination can shrink tumors.
