New combo attack on tough childhood cancers
NCT ID NCT03445858
Summary
This small, early-stage study tested a new combination of three treatments—an immunotherapy drug, a chemotherapy drug, and targeted radiation—in children and young adults (ages 1-40) whose cancers had returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals were to see if the three treatments could be safely given together and to check for early signs that they might help control the cancer. The study was for patients with solid tumors or lymphoma that had no other known curative options.
