New injection trial targets rare blood cancer symptoms

NCT ID NCT05467800

Summary

This study is testing whether canakinumab, an anti-inflammatory injection given every 3 weeks, can help control myelofibrosis. Researchers want to see if it reduces symptoms like fatigue and enlarged spleen, improves anemia, and is safe for patients. The trial is for adults with myelofibrosis who have specific symptoms and may or may not be on other standard treatments.
