National effort launches to map the future for kids with rare liver conditions

Summary
This study aims to create a national registry to track the health of children in Canada with rare, inherited liver diseases that cause bile to build up. It will follow up to 220 children long-term to collect detailed information on their symptoms, treatments, and overall health journey. The goal is to better understand these diseases to improve future care, but it does not test a new treatment.
