First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people can correctly measure their own tonsil size using a tongue depressor, phone camera, and mirror. About 90 participants will compare their self-assessment to evaluations by medical professionals. The goal is to see if self-assessment is accurate enough to help decide who needs to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist, which could save time and healthcare resources.
