Can a simple test tell if kidneys will recover from septic shock?
NCT ID NCT02812784
First seen Jun 12, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 12, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 184 adults with septic shock and early kidney injury to see if a test called Nephrocheck could predict whether their kidneys would recover within 72 hours. The goal was to help doctors know which patients might get better on their own. The study did not test a treatment, only the accuracy of the prediction tool.
