Turning back time: can a common hair loss treatment restore gray Hair's natural color?

NCT ID NCT06813963

Summary

This study is testing whether a topical solution containing minoxidil, a medication commonly used for hair loss, can help restore natural pigment to gray hair in healthy adults. Researchers will compare the results in 100 participants using either the minoxidil solution or a placebo (inactive substance) twice daily for one year. The main goal is to see if the treatment safely reduces the visible amount of gray hair and helps it regain its original color.
