NCT ID NCT07390357

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a low-level laser light (photobiomodulation) can speed up tooth movement in adults getting braces. Eighteen people with a specific bite problem had one side of their mouth treated with the light while the other side was not. The goal was to see if the light could safely make orthodontic treatment faster without surgery or drugs.
