New study asks: could a simple pair of glasses help protect your memory?
NCT ID NCT06836440
Summary
This study is testing whether providing free reading and distance glasses to older adults with vision problems can help slow down memory loss and cognitive decline. Researchers will follow about 1,000 rural adults aged 60-79 for three years, comparing those who receive glasses to those who do not. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost vision correction can be an effective way to support brain health as people age.
