First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple, non-invasive eye ultrasound can predict a type of headache that sometimes happens after spinal anesthesia during C-sections. Researchers will measure the optic nerve sheath diameter in 220 women before and after their C-section and track who develops a headache. The goal is to find a way to identify at-risk patients early, so they can get better care.
