First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at 50 people with atrial fibrillation who were starting a drug called flecainide. Researchers used advanced heart ultrasound and ECG tests to see if they could predict who would stay in normal rhythm and who would have side effects. The goal is to move away from trial-and-error prescribing and give the right drug to the right person from the start.
