Could a glass of water a day keep high blood sugar away?

NCT ID NCT03422848

Summary

This study tested whether drinking extra water could help lower blood sugar levels in adults. Researchers enrolled nearly 800 adults who showed signs of dehydration and high blood sugar risk. For one year, half the participants drank an extra 1.5 liters of water daily, while the other half received general lifestyle advice only, to see if the extra hydration made a difference.
