NCT ID NCT07250516
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether using an AI chatbot (like DeepSeek) helps people make more accurate self-diagnoses and decide when to see a doctor. Over 6,000 adults in China read short health stories and first guessed what was wrong. Then they used either an AI or a search engine to improve their answers. The goal was to see if AI collaboration leads to better health decisions than searching online.
