First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new tool called UFR that uses ultrasound images to measure blockages in heart arteries during a heart attack. The goal is to see if it can accurately predict which blockages are serious right away, so patients don't need to return for a second invasive test 30 days later. Researchers will follow 200 heart attack patients for one year to compare results.
